swordfish
Attention Stoolies which specialised (track\monitor) corporate debt - Sudaca, TJ? Whats the status? Does current fall all over the world in equities markets is followed (or lead) by widening spreads on corporate bonds? Im asking because there are theories that if this IS FOR REAL, then we need to see that. Otherwise, its just another market dip buying opportinity. BTW, Mish shedlock has such a view. Big TIA
Ags Nightmare
Nice job of trading on IDS....I left a sheetload on the table with NEM and the SPY but so it goes... they better hit at least the "Squids" downgraded GDP number of 2.7 % or the bulls are in big trouble...once again..the day before these slimeballs come out with a revised downward number the day before the show print..... another classic Cramit last night.....giving bleating Cramericans the "secret" to the rest of the week.....fumble mangers and hedge hogs will be "marking up their lotto balls today and the first half of tomorrow so hang on and sell into the strength tomorrow afternoon..... I'd say Jimmy Jones has definitely lost his mojo.... Lost Money Late was real quit tonight....the Kunundrum guy who was on a bunch mid day saying buy just said down we go... swordfish
BTW. one popular polish anal cyst, has a view, that based on spread o high quality debt (moody Baa-rated), we are having V shaped recovery some chart of a day in PDF (sorry) http://www.analizy.pekao.com.pl/pdf.php?id=1224 (PKB means GDP and "zmian roczna" means "y/y change rate")

Big TIA I would rank Suds higher than me from a operational/technical standpoint.....I guess I would be more fundamental A couple things: In short, the status has never been better. Crap I bought at 8, 12, 17 cents on the dollar are now trading at 80, 95, par or even over par.... Will it last up here? Who the heck knows A correction could happen at anytime Will is wash out like March '09.....unlikely......could things grind lower for years and years and year.....sure In the end....if you own the bond and it doesn't default you're out at par plus getting paid to wait Bonds funds though -- f**k that noise, too risky because they are just price sensitive Individual issues and credit analysis is the only way to go IMO A portfolio of 50 individual names is a minimum.....100-150 is even better But I think the answer to your question is -----> Here
DrStool
Someone else has a liquidity indicator. Lee, whatcha think of this? I don't know how he's measuring this. http://www.stocktiming.com/Wednesday-DailyMarketUpdate.htm Me neither. No clue. This just in, from my significant other in Colorado... OOOO-FAAAA Good thing the World Series isn't in Denver. One of these days the baseball PTB are going to severely regret running these season's into November. Baseball is not a game to be played in November or late October. When I was a kid the season was 154 games and the post season was 7 games. Ended in early October. This is insane starting the World Freaking Series on October 28 fercryinoutloud. Pisses me off. Go Phils. I like the Phils in 6.

DrStool
OK. Phils in 5. That was what I was gonna say first. Yankee Stadium doesn't even sell out. I don't know why that would be an advantage. Phils played to 102% of capacity. Yankees 88% in a market 4 times bigger. They sold the seats behind home plate and no one showed up to sit in them. Something lacking there in true fan passion. Phillies haven't had an empty seat at The Bank since April. About 2500-3000 standing every game too. That's passion. Charmin
Mr. Widget EOD. I declined from posting Mr. Widget EOD yesterday because at the end of the day I wasn't sure if we'd get a complete Cue Down on our red/blue oscillators. Initially the thought came to mind was - "trending?" or "crash?" I am under the assumption at this moment that the divergence in the red oscillator is indicating some "braking" action, but this braking would need to show up in the other blue/yellow oscillator's Cueing Up. So there ya go. I'm on the lookout of the nearest swing low in the XLF at 14 which could come tomorrow.
