2 or 3 articles in todays WSJ about expensing options. Some of the quotes from various high tech companies really push the envelope. Many complain that they will not be able to offer options ( Why not?, of they do nto say) OR they complain that earnings will suffer. WEll HELLO! Yes that is basic accounting , if costs are higher the bottom line is lower. LIsten, as I always admit I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but do folks really buy into this crap?
