Price Rise Impact... exporting LNG could raise U.S. prices above $9 per thousand cubic feet, which is roughly equivalent to a million British thermal units, or Btus, the Energy Department said in a Jan. 19 report. By 2017 the U.S. could be the largest exporter of liquefied natural gas in the world, surpassing leading LNG exporters Qatar and Australia. Gross domestic product in the world’s second-biggest economy expanded 8.1 percent from a year earlier after an 8.9 percent gain in the fourth quarter, the National Bureau of Statistics said in Beijing today." China is only growing at 8.1 % ! The 2nd biggest economy in the World is growing little above 8% ! They're already talking about "loosening the policy" to spur growth, they're afraid to grow by less than 8%!
