Ditto to those celebrating-Happy Holidays-Good Morning Crew-MH you missed one headline Chief Afghan Puppet Karzai went out of Kabul for a Campaign speech, his chopper landed and a barrage of rockets almost took him out, he then cancelled his speech and fled to the warmth of his Bunker...ah Democracy it flourishs everywhere. Schlock Box was a gas this morning...Maria looked like she had been dragged to the Studio behind a pick-up truck, her Guest the head of Hennessy Funds was predicting 11,000 on the Dow by year end and said Financial management Firms were the place to put your money, then "Uncle Harvey" Perougian Chief Shill and Tub Thumper extrordinaire had an orgasm as the inflation numbers showed no inflation-we are going higher he bellowed. The only one who told the truth was Ranger Rick who announced the numbers by saying "Contrary to what we see at the Gas Pumps and the Grocery Store...there is no inflation."..I wonder if Ranger Rick is "Rog"?? There is a window at the Bell for 45 minutes, Helmets on, Buckle up! ;)

I really don't want to go out today, although we have a beautiful sunny day here un the upper midwest. The reason? The big Dubya is in town for a big Members Only rally. Tickets have been issued in three series, Red (best seats) Blue (sidelines) and Green (outfield).

I suspect that if I were to venture out, I would be asked to show my papers.... As you can imagine, living in Lake Woebegon (the socialist republic of Minnesota), that goes over like a fart in church......

Why doncha hang out in the 'free speech zone'?

Should be nice and quiet there.

By the way, I keep wondering ... why should the public pay the freight (Air Force One transportation) for 'members only' rallies?

Happy new year to those who are celebrating

What just amazes me, is how poorly the war is going,

yet George W's "strength" is that of a war president.

I thought public speaking was his strength.

I think he is on to something. :(

Standing in front of these monsters and their goals of power, by shorting the market prior to Nov 2, is a frightening prospect.

I have it saved as a word document. I've attached it. Hopefully you can download it. If not, please give instructions on how to do it...

Ditto. So I could find it, I filed it inside my copy of Claire Wolfe and Aaron Zelman's The State vs. The People: The Rise of the American Police State.

They give several tests, based mainly on an analysis of the Nazi regime, for determining "What is a police state?"

Britt's tests for "What is fascism?" are somewhat broader and more generalized, so they not only supplement the analysis of Wolfe and Zelman, but also could provide more early warning ... as Wolfe and Zelman's criteria are quite strict. (They really didn't want to conclude that American is a police state ... YET.) :o

With Infineon admitting to price fixing and agreeing to cooperate with the investigation of other major DRAM makers, I wonder who else might be suspect? Let's see, could it be MICRON? Yeah, I bet it could.
