jickiss Posted February 7, 2010 Report Share Posted February 7, 2010 jickiss is back! jickiss is back! and Dear Doc, for sure, the snow fall here in Delaware County has been really incredible....on the order of 30 inches easily. the following is a linked article about the storm as it has hit Philly. but, there is another issue, which seems to be overlooked. since about September, 2008, it has rained every 3 days or sooner (ok, more frequently if ya like good english). Why? your jickiss has no snow thrower for the main reason that the garage is packed with stuff that is too annoying to throw away when it is raining. it rains all the time now, unless, of course, you count the rain and the snow. if the garage had been cleaned up and out, there would have been a brand new snow thrower...gggggrrrrr. the constant dumping of moisture from the skies is the real issue....if this storm had "parked out" longer, then the snowfall could have easily have been 60 inches. 70, 80, 90.... why??? In real world, midwest areas that normally get lots of rain are in semi-drought conditions, and other areas are getting pummeled with snowfall.
