buttugly
Osha says buy MXIM! HA! HA! Erlanger has it as a long squeeze - meaning sell. Erlanger has helped me through this insanity. GDP up 2.4% on defence spending. You'd have to be a complete idiot to buy that. Government's share of GDP expanding! Refer Buffet's base theory. TheMotleyStool
The market is looking forward, and the bursting bond bubble, burst of the refi bubble, and nascent burst of the housing bubble are cause for concern.
wndysrf
New highs for the year on the DAX, CAC, FTSE. All stock indexes continue to trade in lockstep with AMAT.
BartTheBear
Interesting to see if the bulls can run with all these "better than expected" data points. Or will the market gap up and roll-over as it has been doing for the last month or so?
The brown one
I believe that the US method of reporting GDP increase/decrease is the quarterly figurex4. So it is even more insane than at first sight. Anyway, isn't defence spending really a tax on the citizens? All war is inflationary and that's why they have them. longOnUranus
Gonna pack it up early today -- EOM crap -- bulls and bears in a range, it may be their(bulls) day to play. Modestly short SPX. Friday and Monday will be key. Today is noise - except for gold.
