Jimi
Transatlantic rift grows over falling dollar France is co-ordinating efforts with Germany to ensure that next month's meeting of Group of Seven finance ministers sends a strong signal on the need for stability in the currency markets. But both countries are facing an uphill task in persuading the US administration of the need for G7 action to correct the steep decline in the dollar against the euro. Ooo-o-o-o-oh! "Strong signal!" Me so scared!! Wait until Greenspan, in response to a question about the prospects for coordinated global intervention to stop the slide in the dollar, refers to Old Europe." Dollars are stupid - their holders hold Icky's cartoon-bag.

Guest
Brian4, I thing we are just starting to see that our system has lots of cracks in it. We are becoming a society of the haves and have nots. It used to be only major cities in the warmed climates had a homeless problem. I did a google search on "homeless" and came up with over 30 news items from today alone. The middle class sheeple better wise up and fast to reality. Here are just a few The Broome County Homeless Coalition is working to get as many people off the streets as possible. http://www.wbng.com/data/web_4951.shtml Coalition meets to assess needs of homeless http://www.ljworld.com/section/citynews/story/158000 Volunteers defy city order to clear 100 homeless from house http://www.heraldtribune.com/apps/pbcs.dll...4/APN/401140924 Open city armouries for homeless, group demands http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentSe...ol=969483202845 The Battle Creek coalition estimates there are 200 homeless people in Battle Creek at any given time http://www.battlecreekenquirer.com/news/st...ews/220910.html
BAREister
I'm not so sure some of the long term indicators matter so much. Long term indicators Like Lowry's thing are rocketing higher because of super waek numbers coming off the other end. The liquidity thing is just another BIG LIE as far as I'm concerned. By every single measure, liquidity trends are negative. The only remaining liquidity is provided by the shorts. Short squeezes give the illusion of liquidity, until they are exhauseted. Can't put my finger on why, maybe it's all the bullhorning, manipulation, spinning and outright lying, along with the ridiculous levles of bullsih sentiment, but I just have this feeling that somewhere out beyond our solar system, Planet Shit is headed toward us at warp speed. And the people who run Wall Street know it. Nope, just SNOT possible. "Don't worry!!! Be HAPPY!!!"* (itzanERECTIONyear!!!) *Billy bASS(_)_)(_(_)

bubbadropping
Any selling now predicts an upswing next week per Forensic Trading model. I will buy any hysterical down spikes as they are shakeout moves and typically predictable imo. Then I will load up on XLNX and PMCS for their sled ride into earnings. Now regarding Fastow. Before you execute him he should be forced to eat shit live on Fox Primetime and then be cornholed by a young Rhino on 5,000 milligrams of Viagra. Whats left of him should be hung above the front entrance of the trading floor and not cut down until the last maggot can finish dining on his carcass. I know why they will never bring back the good ole debtors prisons of the 17th century. Capitalism is founded on the basic principle of ever accumulating debt. just a little secret Al Green wants no one to know. buddha
