Just another irrational day on the markets..  Nothing changed too much from the morning post: All Ords finished +3.3% with IT retaining the lead, +7.1% followed by Miners +5.9% and Materials +5.7%.  Gold scuffled about in the rear, -4.8%.

Over in Asia, China +1.4%, Hong Kong +1.9%, Japan +6.7%, India currently +1.6%.

I'm thinking that maybe, finally, everything has changed. That being the bull market in bonds is over. With that every possible political and economic plans goes right out the window, as in that trillion of infrastructure spending or any recommendations about what he should do. Nobody is going to 'fix' the economy.

 

That Trump's election rang the bell on the bond bear market is mostly coincidence I suppose. Anyway we now have a reactionary in place as it starts, not later as would be expected. All the West will follow.
