zensmoke
DJ EIA Raises US Q3 Oil Price Forecast, Says Spikes Possible NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--U.S. benchmark oil prices will average $37 a barrel in the third quarter, $1 more than expected last month, the federal Energy Information Administration said Wednesday. Prices have fallen from their early June highs above $40, but remain in the high $30s despite improvements in U.S. commercial inventories of crude oil and higher output by members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, the EIA, the statistics arm of the U.S. Department of Energy, said in its July Short-Term Energy Outlook. ..................... "Price spikes are still quite possible," the EIA wrote. "Currently low world oil surplus capacity levels provide an extremely limited cushion in the event of unexpected world oil market disruptions." zensmoke
The Road to Hell Is Paved with Good Intentions Created: 07.07.2004 18:50 MSK (GMT +3), Updated: 18:50 MSK, 17 minutes ago Marina Pustilnik MosNews The Russian banking system is suffering from a very serious case of jitters. Since the Central Bank of Russia recalled the general banking license from Sodbiznesbank on May 13, accusing the bank of money laundering and sponsorship of terrorism, the banking community has been living in constant fear, trying to guess which bank is going to be next. The general sense of dismay and gloomy expectations which pervade the banking community prompted a serious liquidity shortage on the inter-bank loan market and led to crisis situations in a number of banks that were forced to cease or limit their operations. http://www.mosnews.com/money/2004/07/07/bankcrisis.shtml

Drano
Board seems to be loading very slowly today -- is it just me? Stooltrading seems slower than the other boards. I'll be away all day today. Historically, that has almost always meant that there will be a huge move (really). Can't tell you which direction, though. I hear that Dr. Metamucil is treating an epidemic of SARS at Stoolville --SellAllRallies. Oh, no, I guess he's the one SPREADING it.
