(NYSE:HAL - News), the world's second-largest energy services company, on Tuesday warned it expects to record additional operating losses of $200 million, or 46 cents a share, in the second quarter related to its Barracuda-Caratinga project. Houston-based Halliburton said it will record a $310 million pretax charge related to the deepwater oil project in Brazil, citing higher cost estimates and schedule delays. The company also said it will take a $615 million after-tax charge, or $1.40 a share, after negotiations with insurers resulted in reduced asbestos insurance recoveries. Right now there 9 new expansion projects underway, all are consortiums of Canadian Companies-the Latest being "True North Energy" who just raised 30 Billion $. 5 of the 9 will be up and producing in the next 2 to 5 years.
