scottcardiff
Good work! I would be very interested in ongoing updates. Could you possibly post a chart of it going back a number of years? Sorry, that would be too much data to track and input for little old me. I will post daily in premarket and during the day when big moves are registered. As an aside, for anyone that wants to learn how to trade elliot waves and fibonaccis, study the DKS chart (60 minute) over the past 6 days. 1. A perfect ABC move where C = 1.38 (A) 2. Perfect 38% retracement on daily chart of move from 16 to 26.4 3. Support on daily at 50 day MA and area of gap. 4. This AM, Gap down to target. 5. Heavy volume at target. 6. Up over 10% this AM. That is how the big money is made trading the market. Catch one of these per week and double your money every 7 weeks.
soup
Not much in the WSJ article. Standard case where one poster was bearish, and of course all the bulls got pissed off. Just another example of how bullish the public still is, maybe not bullish enough to plow new dough into funds but certainly not at the por to redeem. Tig 'Ol Bitties
Anyone with a pay WSJ online subscription read the article about "Dark Side of Message Boards" today? What was it all about? Did they quote MH or Yobob or anyone? All about Cohodes who runs a hedge fund for Rocker Capital who apparently uses the message boards at yahoo for most of his stock research. Apparently he got tired of being berated by the locals over there and is suing them for libel, etc. He must be a real genius...oops, better watch my tounge or I may get served papers. soup
It will be interesting, to say the least, how we make it thru earnings season. We all know the real earnings will be pathetic; but will the consortium be able to spin using Iraq etc.?
sheet4brain
Quote from Scottcardiff: Note: I can now see that Adv/Decline numbers should be added. Any thoughts? Don't add too many ingredients into your indicator soup mix. Larry Katz at Traders-Talk has a good point on the less-than-useful A/D numbers these days. http://www.traders-talk.com/site/mb/show_t...1260&folderid=

coboy
is summation tick the same as cumulative tick? If so I must really have some bad data. I don't think they are the same. Summation seems to be a proprietary indicator but seems to be tracking better..
