Well, I moved the money in today. Haven't bought yet, but the money is there. The market does look like it may be in a topping process. However, I hope we've all learned some lessons about money management from this rally. No matter how confident I am where this market will be one year from now and two years from now, the bulls can jam the tape to the sky and wipe me out if I don't use sound money management. A wise man once said, "Don't ask what the market is going to do tomorrow, ask what you are going to do in response to the market." Another wise man said a similar thing: "trade safe." I hope, there is that word again hope that this is a beginning of something beautiful and the market tanks. If it did, then I can talk about how I almost covered when all was dark, hehe. Losing more than a 1/4 of my trading fund is all I can handle and that is my stop. Is this a tease, god I hope not. Â Nice day? I think so and with very little jamming into the close. Straight up until exhaustion, and then the derivatives based selling spiral will begin. Â That will not be be pretty. Â I'll just watch and be on the lookout for the monster reversal candle with the big spikey top that seems to usually mark the top of the parabola. Usually at this juncture I'd say upside to downside is very small but that final parabolic meltup blowoff wildcard is rather spooky. SPX 1020+? Who knows. I don't see any evidence of parabola-style moves on the stock indices. Looks like the end of a move to me, with a test of 1020 possible, probably on tired volume and with tired, worn-out indicators.
