But here's the key question.

What man looks at shoes?

No one. ?They all look at the breasts.

What man looks at the price action of CAT or MCD?

No one. ?They all look at AMAT.

Reminds me of SJP in Sex and the City. You look ugly, you don't have big boobs, so you wear fancy sexy shoes!!!

Your standards must be EXTREME! For a woman of almost 40 years, she's mighty fine as far as I'm concerned. SHEESH!

Almost 40 years?

I had guessed that this woman was about 50.

My apologies.

Speaking of "women of a certain age", you may recall fiesty politician Yuko Mori:

47 years old. Mother of 3 kids.

Here's the "blow-by-blow" account in the weeklies.

Flash: Mild-mannered mom comes out swinging in the mother of all political punch-ups

Piles,

Educate me: I don't see the significant divergence. Are they doing it peek-a-boo fashion? For how long a period and to how great a divergence can they spook it?

Anyone read Noland yet?

Was unaware that agency spreads collapsed and now its "back to business as usual".

What other credit market has 9 lives like a cat?

Noland warning of a final blowoff in housing and retail spending, fanned by the flames of continued housing price inflation, home equity line extraction, and all the rest.

Like all manias, they end in a parabolic fashion.

No wonder those retailers were on fire.

Pile is right. Just like last year. Dow will Boner up to new highs, led by WMT, MCD, HD, PG, and all the consumer stocks.

Nasdog will have one last gasp, led by the Asian Exoticas and Internuts, but will not make a new high.

Homebubblers may have another big leg up.

All in time for a swan dive into the October timeframe.

Icky

The Dow is only 1.3% away from closing higher than June 17th high. That's not much.

Investors seem to be trying to hide in the Dow and away from Nasty.

Just trying to prepare myself for the absurd so I'm not caught off guard if it happens. The media will try their best at spinning it as a positive. Its not.

You can run, but you can't hide :P

OK, piles, I almost get it...Our esteemed moderator has re-inforced your point also by reminding me (and all of us) to take the time for Doug Noland... It takes me a while to get thru it...but apparently it's important this week  so that is what I'm going to do ....
