roidrage
BB: Exactly, the more the govt spends the less wealth we have. I'll think about that tonight when I'm at the playground with my kids or later on when I'm swimming laps at the public pool.
coboy
It's as if it was being run from an Indian Reservation in Northern New York State. Not all Indians are smart ! Onondaga Nation is very poor, Oneida Nation discovered gambling and is rich..
MyGoldenStool
The economy's all better- nothing but clear sailing now, so let's ratchet up those interest rates and energy prices to slow it down before it overheats!

Guest
That's funny LoU! I loved that show as a kid. I'd still watch it now. I was thinking along the line of Mohegan Sun. But, I like your idea better. Agarn would make a great talking head on Crapvision! Wrangler Jane could be another Maria.

machinehead
2.4% isn't even what the economists would call "trend growth". It appears to me as if the orgy of borrowing and consuming has moved from the private sector to the government. Exactly. The federal government is still the top-rated credit in the country ... "risk-free," as the saying goes. Bubble II ends when Treasury debt is junk-rated. Plenty of time to party before then.
