Shoulda stayed away from BBH (Amgen by proxy) as it looks like a longer term short to me now. Thought i unnerstood it, too. Yes, AMGN reminds me of EBAY........and its representation in BTK and BBH is excessive.....but BBH will break down. It is hitting the apex of its wedge. I'm kind of thinking that if this thing really starts to roll over, it might not be a bad idea to sell some more here. Though COX and RTEC are looking pretty attractive too. Remember a while back I posted some names for the "porno portfolio"? Symbols like AHO, POS. COX would make a mighty fine addition to it. Any others? Foxie, you must have missed my post yesterday about the Sargasso Sea. (Maybe because you hit the "ignore" button for my posts.....) The Sargasso Sea is a region where there is a giant mass of floating seaweed. If a sailing ship would inadvertently sail into it, it would get entangled in the seaweed and be stuck. Having fun with my own charts BUT I don't have a real-time feed from any of the charting services. I look at my charts, and confirm a closer real-time view with your charts, especially the indicator panes. Learning to read them rather confidently. I love the QQQ charts, both 3 and 8 day. I trade small allotments of QQQ options lately and would have missed some serious percentage of gains without the closer to real time you offer. 3 minutes or less is a heck of a lot better than the 20 minutes I'm delayed. I know, you hate options, but it's the only real way I can rebuild the trading funds with the leverage they offer, for now anyway. Stoolies will hate this but once again QQQ calls, front month one step out of the money have allowed me a quick DOUBLE of my initial purchase. This certainly don't make me a BULL it's just that it's a cash account and subject to 5 settlement days. When the cash was available to game once again the damn charts showed once again quick in and out of calls was the order of the day yesterday morning. I then heeded SG's advice and flogged them off just as Greenspew started yapping. Awesome charts, mine and yours, and SG's calm, unemotional approach have given me discipline. I truly love this game! Now I gotta wait 5 days again so I will probably miss the slide, once again, but this time I hope the charts at that time favor puts. Only thing that will piss me off is that 5 days from now puts will probably be outrageously expensive with most of the gains behind them already, too close to expiration anyway. Doubt if I will trade till after expiration anyway. We'll see. I got enough coin that I can split my purchases from here on in and not going all or nothing anymore. Whew! That was long winded but I had to give kudos to your fabulous charts, as they allowed even better gains than if I were on my own. Praise be to Stool!
