The effects of Venus square Saturn wore off by early afternoon and the Moon oppose Jupiter energy prevailed for the afternoon. This coincided with the 3, 5 and 8 day cyclces bottoming. If the 13 day cycle has bottomed there may be more upside yet.

Tuesday I expect Moon square Saturn at 1:47 to dominate. At least for the later part of the day. If we don't get much downside here, it may be time to close out any puts and shorts and wait.

There is also Moon trine Pluto at 2:45 am which could mean a negative overnight period for gold and silver. More so for silver which has shown weakness while gold has shown strength.

Moon trine Mercury at 6:45 am: Expect news.

Moon oppose Venus at 11 pm should bring value issues to the fore overnight.

For Wednesday we have Moon oppose Mars at 12:30 pm. Mars had beeen the gold of equities rallies lately so bears, beware.

Twenty minutes past the close we have Sun square Uranus. Sun = consciousness, power, will. Uranus = change, innovation, intuition. This asperct will likely effect technology stocks. Coupled with Mars earlier, it may be positive.

Also Venus trine Uranus at 5:45 pm. Likely change in value. Could impact currencies and metals.

(There is also a Moon sextile Uranus at 12:53 am).

Monday looks bullish with Jupiter trine Neptune overnight. Moon trine Venus late morning and Moon trine Mars and Moon square Jupiter in the evening.

Jupiter trine Neptune is of interest. Jupiter = expansiveness. Neptune = liquidity. Inflation??????

btw, Venus joins Mars in Scorpio this evening. Parhaps this will temper the general violent behavior (shootings, sports violence) that has been going on since Mars entered Scoprio.

Some of the biotechs look to be forming launch pads rather than tops here. Genzyme for example.

The effects of Venus square Saturn wore off by early afternoon and the Moon oppose Jupiter energy prevailed for the afternoon. As for intraday angles, Pluto and Mercury were conjunct Midheaven around 1:15 pm. This coincided with the 3, 5 and 8 day cyclces bottoming. If the 13 day cycle has bottomed there may be more upside yet.

The effect from Moon opposed Saturn was short lived and domianted the middle part of the session, but the indexes recovered by the close. Moon Sayurn aspects often don't have staying power.

Moon oppose Mars exact 12:30 pm on Wednesday may be playing itself out in Iraq rather than equities with a major offensive launched south of Baghdad. Debka has described a scenario where the US and Iraqi troops allowed the rebels corridors to exit Fallujah so that they can be destroyed later under more favorable battlefield conditions.

Sun square Uranus (just past the close) can play out a number of ways. A surpise on the battlefield, a significant positive or negative day for techs or perhaps a surprise in currencies/metals as gold and the dollar are both poised in critical areas and Venus trine Uranus follows one hour later. I am taking a wait and see. Did add Dec 35 calls on JCOM to balance out Dec puts on CSCO (20), QQQ (39) and XLF (30). GENZ now looks to be making a top rather than a launch pad. AMGN may have some upside.

Sold Dec ECBOT Silver and bought March. Will sell Dec ECBOT Gold and buy February later this week. Sitting underwater on March Corn and Wheat. Will hold as long as critical support holds. 2 steps forward with Gold and Silver one step backward with the grains. I have a bad habit of trying to anticipate bottoms with these. What a grain in the @ss.

btw, some serious rain expected in NYC area, esp in the afternoon so this may put a damper on trading. There is a Moon square Neptune at 8 pm and Neptune is water/liquid.
