NWD
Boomberg is just another infomercial. The writers are paid shills, no better than the veg-o-matic salesman on the boardwalk in Atlantic City. NWD
Hedgehogs at the brink: The $866-billion hedge fund industry was making a last-ditch attempt to stop the Securities and Exchange Commission from adopting a plan today that would impose new regulations on hedge funds, the private investment partnerships designed for wealthy investors.  Arbitrage this  There's a HUGE problem here ... the hedge fund industry is full of funds that are departing from their 'market neutral' investment guidelines, and even some outright frauds.  If the SEC lifts the corner of the carpet to expose this thriving cockroach metropolis, it will be like Enron-squared. Absolutely. They are a driving force in the short dollar thesis. One of the reasons I wouldn't be suprised if the dollar rallied a bit here. Of course I wouldn't be suprised if it fell out of bed either.
soup
kwave posted a link to ibm;s balance sheet. The question I always ask is where is the money? Cmon they havwe such great earnings yet book value never increases? The mutual fraud mark ups and the corp options scam are, imo, the crimes of the century.
