A carefree ride for All Ords with the index finishing +0.6%. IT +1.7% and Financials +1.6% led the way with Gold -2.6% down the most.

I'll be offline for most of the day. Looks like the market is pretty happy that Irma didn't totally destroy FL. I still think that it will be all but impossible to obtain property insurance after this.
Without insurance FL can't rebuild, can't continue to grow. It will change life in FL, and will decimate property values there.

Been that sort of week.. floods in SE Asia, earthquake in Mexico, torrential rain in Italy... to be honest I think it's gonna be hard to get insurance anywhere on the planet over time..
