A sideways roll for All Ords with the index gaining +0.2% for the day.  Energy +1.2% was the main gainer followed by Financials +0.6%.  Utilities lost the most, -0.9%.

Over in Asia, China -0.3%, Hong Kong -0.4%, India currently +0.4%.

The Fed Words thing no matter how decrepit stumbles on. I see some wag is proposing the Fed will now commit to only 3 "rate hikes" as they call them, not 4. Which I suppose is supposed to be bullish and if they do use 3, not 4, would be, for a moment.

One funny thing is what everyone really wants is more QE, but they don't actually know they want it, or something. It's all very confusing. Of course no article on Fed Words can skip the Dual Mandate. It's a beautiful thing.

The funniest is that the price of money doesn't matter. The quantity of money matters. And nobody is paying attention to that because the Fed told everybody not to pay attention to that.
