He said that the Turks had massacred 1.5 million AMERICANS, in WWI, when he meant to say Armenians. Ooops. Have to wonder if the error was on the teleprompter. According to a recent Pew Survey, only 9% of Turks have a favorable view of the U.S., while 83% have an unfavorable view. That's the most anti-U.S. stance of any country in the survey. For some reason, the U.S. is still widely-beloved in Africa. Maybe they don't get the papers over there. They probably think Clinton or Carter is still president. Of the 46 countries surveyed, only 25 have a majority who view the U.S. favorably. And many are right on the cusp.
