cwd
Jesus.... I've been part of a larger team to value a simple subsidiary acquisition. And that was as consultants for a cooperative client. Stress test is idiocy. It is strictly eyewash and it is making the banksters and the Fraudsters rich, and for the rest of us.

dogsie
Couldn't NASD just be consolidating around its 200 dma before another up move? Just sayin...
Jetlag
anybuddy besides me frightened by the FRN debenture markit's weakness? I am. But probably not for the same reasons you are. I'm afraid the Bundesbank philosophy followed by the ECB is curtailing the necessary spending of the Trillions of Euros to jump start the economy out of the doldrums. I mean the biggest economic block in the World won't even step up to the plate and throw away a cool Trillion on the tables?

phatbubble
markets have moved to the dark side - may the farce be with you Mercury retro not working yet.. Full moon tonight ....... Monday could be another story... ( yarn ) Mercury Rx workin just fine here, I've had a Whitman's Sampler of Your Favorite Computer Bullshit happen today. Anyway, Mercury switching directions doesn't necessarily imply market direction change at the beginning. Highest likelihood for that is at the midpoint of the retrograde period, around Mon 18th. Given opex next Fri and Saturn going direct I'd be looking for a top in 5-6 trading days. With maybe a window of a week either way. Which we're in.
