World Stock Markets Trading Discussion - Wishful wending

Early openers upwardly mobile: Kiwis +0.4%, Aussies +0.7%, Japan +0.3%, Sth Korea +0.4%.

Aussie sectors are seeing buying in the so-called defensive sectors: Consumer Staples +1.4%, Healthcare +1.3% with Gold occupying the bottom rung, -1.6%.

All Ords finished 0.6% with little change from the am post in regard to  sectors.  Consumer Staples remained leader, +3.3% followed by Healthcare +1.3% and Gold -2.2% lingered at the lower reaches.

Not a lot happening in Asia, China +0.1%, Hong Kong -0.2%, Japan flat and India currently +0.8%.
