Bogus Buck

Recommended Posts

From the Monday, December 30, 2002 edition of the New York Post:

Forget Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and Rudolph - it's Robo-Deer.

The mechanical decoy is about to enter its eighth year helping Florida Fish and Wildlife officers win their war on poachers. The agency has used the bogus buck - which can turn its head and twitch its tail - since 1995.

"You'd think they'd get the message when this thing doesn't run that it's not real," a conservation spokesman said.

And of course you all knew this is what I had in mind when you saw the title of this thread for the first time, right?

Feed RE: buy the best........ RGLD has the strongest chart.......

But look at the HUI.... Still below 155..... Kevin Klombies does some really good work over at IMRA ( inter market relationship analysis) visit 321Gold and check out his article comparing the ratio ot the USD vs Spot Gold. He notes a 4:1 ratio as a strong resistance point. We are now nearing that point. He figures spot pushes up to 380ish and American peso to 96 would yield the 4:1 ratio........

As SG would say the market moves from optimism to pessimism.... we know where we are now in regards to Gold...

If I am right GG has the lowest gold production cost. Pays dividends as well.

SG updates

hit my 24.64... heh heh....

The resulting decline will see 23.70 before resting near term....

I could be wrong...

Regarding Gold... faves are MDG and GG.... however, on a relative basis, DROOY outperforms. Pull up chart of all 3 over differing time frames.

GG is the safest of the 3 though, low gold costs, no hedge book, dividend, and rising production in a safe country too...

DROOY for more aggressive investors, but it looks poised to break out.

I have no ownership in any right now...

FF, please use "large" instead of "wide" charts when posting here - for the benefit of those who have problems with smaller screen resolutions and hate to do horizontal scrolling. I've fixed the size in your post, removed the restriction to have an end date (thus making the chart "live") and added price labels.

Regards,

Vesselin
