Guest
From the Friday, January 10 issue of the New York Post: A Mafia hitman charged with a double murder came up with a novel alibi. "I am not the murderer . . . because that day, I was killing someone else," Salvatore Torre told Italy's Crown Court. "I committed another crime . . . of which no one has accused me." There was nothing noble about Torre's testimony. He's already serving a life sentence for murder. And welcome to Stool U's Halls of Higher Learning, BigWave. Using a pivot point calcuator. Therefore, it would be for the current day only and recalulated at close for next day. Rockhead
Sweef, how do you determine pivot point tia Bubba Your post should be directed to Sniff, not Sweef I think. Anyhow...here is a pivot high defintion........... The Pivot High ShowMe study identifies high pivot points; by default, it places a dot at the high price of the bar when the high price is greater than the high price of the four previous bars, and greater also than the high price of the subsequent two bars. You can change the price used to calculate the pivot and the strength of the pivot. Pivot points are used to calculate support and resistance levels, with a high pivot indicating the resistance level, and the low pivot indicating a support level. When price penetrates the resistance line as calculated by the high pivot, it is considered a breakout and the resistance level generally becomes the new support level. Hope that helps. simple guy
From my 827 am post this morning.... SG dings in SG predicted over the weekend NDX 998-1000 should be seen as bottom of this first wave. SG notes 1004 on the futures as we speak, or maybe a tad lower. SG says those with kahunas like myself should go long this morning early.... on the QQQ index, which is doversole as well. SG reiterates retrace to 1040-1050 on the NDX is nigh.... I could be wrong.... I will be conducting seminars today so will be gone most of the day. Therefore, since I cant watch the tick... I cant enter a trade.... but lets pretend the market was still in this range at 1030 am, I would be going long the Rydex Velocity for a trade and covering shorts this morning... Look for a move to 25.97 ish... probably tomorrow morning. WHICH I WILL SHORT

I dont use them all too often, but am aware of them See my other post to BBear regarding how they are contructed automatically in Tradestation. Also running another add-on software to Tradestation which calulates them a bit differently and I do follow those.
