All Ords scuttled north like a rat up a drainpipe closing +1.9%.  Financials and Miners, both +2.6%, led the pack with only Healthcare -0.2% in the red.  Gold rose a cautious +0.9%.

Mostly green in Asia: China +0.6%, Honkers +0.4%, India +1.5% and Nikkers +1.9%.  Taiwan -0.2% was the only bourse not partying.

On to UK/Europe:

One would think with all the U.S. crude production

that prices would be falling.

What are we doing with it all, exporting to EyeRan?

  • Oil
  • 97.89
  • 1.20
  • +1.24%

"Measured in dollars, the nation is on pace this year to ship more gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel than any other single export, according to U.S. Census data going back to 1990. It will also be the first year in more than 60 that America has been a net exporter of these fuels."
