All Ords closed +0.9% with reasonable gains across the sectors: IT +1.5%, Consumer Discretionary +1.3% and Financials +1.2%.  Gold -1.2% remained the only down sector.

Over in Asia, China +0.7%, Hong Kong +0.4%, India +1.3% and Nikkei +4% (!).

On to UK/Europe:

Not as widely ventilated as Bullard's "we can taper the tapering" uttering on Wednesday:

STOCKS

Still overvalued

QE still being tapered.

Liquidation of leveraged stock postions.

This is a taper paper parade.

This would also is good cover for the ECB to start European QE in earnest.

1.3 trillion in bond purchases.

ETF suggestion for the day.

The ECB QE1frontrunning ETF.

Buy what the ECB buys....just go along for the ride.

Worked in the USA ...will work in Europe.
