BAREister
A sign outside the offices of Mr TwoScrews, where he conceives still more "PSYCHO bearish" investment strategies (the "Vacancy" light turned on serves notice to the public at large as to what exists, substantively, within/ twixt his EARS, etc. ):
BeerMarket
SMOKED !!...Good for 2+ pts short yesterday daytrade... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> FFIV should be interesting to watch, especially once growth inevitably slows. For a while now mutual funds and institutions have held 90%, and as of Feb (guess we have to wait until Mon for Mar numbers) 9% is short. We can't look to insider sales for clues because they dumped everything they had already. but I'm sure the mutual frauds and institutionalized traders will exit in an orderly manner when the time comes. BeerMarket
Still don't understand why these consumer products companies continue to break out... I guess they are new "cult" stocks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> has there been a rash of rashes? should gold bugs have bought gold-bond instead? crazy growth in established products: Chattem, Inc. Reports Fiscal 2005 First Quarter Revenues and Profits Sales of Gold Bond products increased by 42% during the quarter, led by the lotion (up 70%), foot (up 52%), powder (up 23%) and cream (up 20%) lines of the business. The increase in the lotion business was driven by the continuing strength of Gold Bond Ultimate? Healing Lotion which remains one of the fastest growing products nationally in the hand and body lotion category. Gold Bond Foot enjoyed increased distribution of its Foot Cream product that was launched last year. Gold Bond Cream benefitted from off-season advertising while Gold Bond Powder sales were driven by the launch of Gold Bond Ultimate Comfort Powder. fxfox
as always the latecomers get fornicateed. See, those who can read charts are long sicne early 2002 entry price around 1500 (that was when 50 SMA weekly got broken to the upside) and just recently folks who can read candlesticks have sold at 9500 (watch the candle in the blue circle, would you really have hold your shares after such a mega bearish candle). There is no relief for those who came late, becasue we have a monster fractal: monster bearish doji followed by a big fat long red candle. This is sooo bearish as a pakistani investor i would simply go to the himalya and fight agaisnt the indians just because that you have the chance to get killed by an indian gun, otherwise you would have to do it by yourselve. wndysrf
wyndy, any update on business outlook for VNBC? signs of slowdown yet, or still strong? stock was rolling over but bounced yesterday <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, some major buying came into the stock yesterday. Float is thin, so this one tends to be very whippy..... Only about 4% is sold short, so its not too dangerous on the short side....

Silky_Xlax
Shorty, I think we need to go long MSO for an AssBlast... Short interest is 91 Freakin' Percent! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This stock trades its entire float in less than 4 days. SIR is just 2+. The figure is from Mar-8 - who knows how many have covered or piled on more by now. Could well have another monster leg up like TZOO did - after its first climax run. Gann on Tops - the last weeks of a Top will usually be punctuted with extreme speculation and many small, worthless issues jumping 20% or more in a day. You dont want to be short in the final days and beware of sudden blow-off moves. MSO fits right in there
