Guest
From yesterday's New York Post: For sale: one ship's bell, old and corroded, big piece missing. First user: Christopher Columbus. Bidding will start at $1 million when the bronze artifact from the Santa Maria, flagship of Columbus' 1492 voyage, is auctioned off Feb. 20 in Madrid. The bell belongs to an Italian diver, Roberto Mazzara, who found it in a shipwreck off Portugal's coast in 1994 and did years pf detective work to prove it was the bell that tolled when Columbus and his crew arrived in America. BubbaBear
ot- Subject: The war on terrorism AP/UPI/CNN The Canadians are going to help America with the war on terrorism. They have pledged 2 of their biggest battle ships, 6000 ground troops and 6 fighter jets. Unfortunately, after the exchange rate conversion, we ended up with 2 canoes, 1 Mountie, and some flying squirrels
Sam Adams
Meta, That's great news in more ways than one. Platinum appears to lead the PM group up and down. Not a perfect indicator but when I see a move like this it tells me gold has bottomed.

machinehead
mjkst27 - the 'Happy days' shtick was just a facade. Al Green is up in the Capitol dome now, hanging over the rail and threatening to kill himself because he's not appreciated anymore. Down in the rotunda, a bunch of tourists and politicians are shouting, "Jump! Jump!"

MaxxPain
Watching shitipoop sink brings great joy to me. AMGN is making me mad but I think it's hanging by a thread at the anal pore. The central banks don't play games with platinum. The biggest use of platinum is catalytic converters. Maybe a problem if the auto bubble bursts but investment demand may increase.
