PileDriver
A groping we shall go ! This rally should simply form a pretty jog in the decline down from Dec 2. Just like the jogs in the chart coming down from Jan 2002 high (March, mid April, mid May rallies). Should end sometime late next week. From here, plenty of time and price left to go - still not too late to go groping for a quickie, as Mark would say.
Guest
Slothrop, Either you're trying to make a point or I'm too thick to pick up on it but your question bears resemblence to a colleague of mine to whom I'd told that he could search things on the internet by using Google. Minutes later he asked me whether there were any other search engines, and I replied: Search Google for "search engines"

GTNWORSE
Hey Guys, Damn that was interesting. 10-1 upside volume on both indexes, just like Oct blast off, but VIX and PC levels are nowhere near as supportive of a sustainable rally. Nevertheless I will go long a moderate position in RYVNX tomorrow. Hope for a decent run back to the Dec 2 highs. Good luck to all and....I don't know shit. Guest
*** BREAKING NEWS *** American and British airplanes drop half a million fliers over Iraq that tells them to listen to American broadcasts in the region and lets them know that Saddamn's in violation of international law etc, etc. I guess you already knew that tactics like that were being used on Iraq but I just thought I should tell you as it was just broadcast on Swedish radio. Hejd?
GregFokker
Fokker has no bullish positions in play currently other than miners and gold. But, the TRIN close at .22 is the lowest since 10/28/97. I don't think that this bounce is going to be going much farther.

BAREister
CoinGuy, allegedly, Rogers' fund is the ONLY one out there...FUR now, of that ilk. Why argue with his results? He's up 35% last year, and approx 70% since inception. Told me so last night. Who CARES who runs or designed the fund if it's performing well and commodity based. Rogers formed his own fund because he disagrees w the conventional widely-watched indices. Mr TwoScrewsLoose where hASSt thou been? You're living up to yurrr moniker again! FURcing Fokker to take the Pepto and whatnot with your bullish predix. Maybe u will be vindicated but there's a WAR looming, and we're not out of the congestion zone, yet. Further, intermediate TA indicators suggest this rally won't carry too FUR FUR whatever THAT'S worth. And Gene Inger didn't think it would, either, at least ass of lASSt nite. Too many have the JITTERS, still.
PileDriver
this is nothing but a brief relief rally in a confirmed downtrend. No way the beginning of something like the Oct 9th lift off. I don't care what the volume bozos say. No frick'n way, don't listen that shear nonsense. Doc had thought earlier today on Intraday that 10-13 might be compressed, similar to late Feb to March madness cycle high. Starts late and ends early. What a great short opp if you missed the Dec 2 high area.
BAREister
AND, Mr. TwoScrews......AND just WHERE is the FUEL FUR this rally of yours going to come FURom? Take a lookee loo at THIS, wouldyewpuhhhLEEZ: http://www.cross-currents.net/weekly.htm Yestiddy HRFF read that "buy and hold" by the mutual fundholder was still the case because, in 2002 there was only a net outflow of less than 1%. This link above suggests that percentage may be increasing; and it flatly contravenes the aFURmentioned notion that buy and hold still dominates. If true there's quiet desperation aplenty in the BOREDrooms of the fund jockeys. That epiphany may explain, also the jamjob and mASSive ASSet allocation from bonds (ass described by Arch C) that we saw today. The fund boyz are getting VERY nervous. The age?-old precepts that have, FUR so 'long' LOL defined their modus operandi are being, FINALLY, called into question, it SEEMS. Personally, HRFF thinks this rally and reflation smoke and mirrors, emblematic of CRUNCH TIME. It's NOW OR NEVER, DOO-DOO OR DIE FUR Da Boyz, fund jockeys, bonkers, the government, the Fed and the bulls. This rally may be THE efFURt to "convince" the little guy and biz people that it's "OK to take risks" again. So January should prove a very uncomFURtable time FURbearz. If Arch is right, we'll have a resolution, 'short'ly. So FUR we've come up to major resistance and little more. The market must move above the post Oct trading (de?)range and STAY THERE to convince the skeptics and Nervous Nellies. The war w Iraq hASS made a lot of 'em. But even then, there must be FUEL to SUSTAIN MH's prognostication? of a rally lASSting "weeks or even months". And they've got to turn around TECH and DECISIVELY to jam this puppy. They CAN'T do it with UDDER leadership alone. And they WON'T be able to, predix HRFF, who has said, FUR ages, that "tech took 'er up, tech'll put a lid on 'er, and tech'll take 'er down". Well, it's gonna put a lid on this incipient rally, The BARE will wage. And there's always the lurking "HAYWIRE THEORY"... "Oh, the times are so UNCERTAIN..." PileDriver
1.6 trillion has been pumped in. So far only 100 bill has come out. We've got a lot of pent up selling pressure left to go. Major bowel movement dead ahead. Still 6 figures in BEARX and sleeping well. Intentionally waited for this Monkey Rally before going aggressively short individual picks & RYVNX. We're getting there baby, I can smell it. Whooo, hoooo!
