Reems and reems of meaningless data droned out to the masses in an endless campaign of depoliticization. Marginalize all critical thinking, coopt all truth with fiction. Exhaust the populace with trivia. Dominate the airwaves with deliberate and persistent falsehoods.

Think God no one did jail time. These people are white. They wear expensive suits. They go to very important parties. They have big expensive houses. They obviously don't belong behind bars. It's a relief to know that our society and system is not so corrupt that we would have to jail people like Mr. Grubman. Jail is not a pretty place. Not only is your freedom to move about taken away but your very sense of being human is under constant attack. Not only are you reduced to subhuman status by the jailers and the jail system but you're also dumped in a pool of fellow subhuman's were your very life is in constant and real danger. Once in this system there is almost no way out. Money, and lots of it, is the only thing that has a chance of freeing you from the prison system. Prisons were not built for the likes of Mr. Grubman. The media breathed a collective sigh of relief when they stated that these people would not have to do jail time. It simply would be too disruptive to our concept of class. Jails are not built for people who steal billions of dollars and ruin the lives of millions. Jails are built for the poor and the uneducated. Jails are built for people who don't fit into society. Jails are built for people who choose to consume substances not sanctioned by current law. A quick glance at statistics will show anyone the main reason why prisons are built. Young black males.

How do the American people feel about all of this? We elect representatives who are ?tough on crime?. But only the appropriate crimes.
