Early openers in a gloomy mood: Kiwis -1.3%, Aussies -0.5%, Japan -0.4% and Sth Korea -0.2%.
Most Aussie sectors down with Gold +1.2% being an exception. At the other end IT -1.3% and Healthcare -1%.

All Ords had an unusually bearish day, finishing -0.5%. Gold +0.4% was the only up sector and IT lost the most, -1.4%.

shorting is an exercise in futility, just buy any minor dip each day

next week monthly expiration, bullish
