World Stock Markets Trading Discussion - Unanimous unburdening

Recommended Posts

Finally it's sell time for the early openers: Kiwis -0.8%, Aussies -1.3%, Japan -1.7% and Sth Korea -0.7%.

Naturally enough, Gold +1.9% is the only Aussie sector with a gain.  IT -3% and Financials -2.2% are down the most.

All Ords dragged itself off the lows to close -0.8% so we might be looking at at the inevitable dead cat tomorrow.  Telecomms +0.3% and Gold +0.1% were the only up sectors with Healthcare -2% and IT -1.7% at the other end.

Over in Asia, China -0.5%, Hong Kong -0.7%, Japan -1.3%, India currently -0.4%.

UK/Europe open: FTSE -0.7%, DAX -0.3%, CAC -0.3%.

New rule. Never buy emerging market ETF. If you own emerging market ETF, never use  stop. Better to wait for rebound and sell. See EWZ.

I've met with a lot of people from ETF providers.

I'm pretty sure you never ever want to own any ETF.
