The index closed -0.3% with only two up sectors, REITS +1% and Consumer Discretionary +0.3%. Miners was down the most, -1.7%.Over in Asia, China +0.1%, Hong Kong flat, Japan -0.8%, India currently flat. I can imagine a smokestack rising from the roof of the place. This is a tongue in cheek question by the way. Although I resorted to explaining 'normalization' to someone by using truck loads of money out of the Treasury building to an Eccles building furnace analogy. No matter, Nobody believes that money can disappear. Claiming your mother in law is a space alien will get you less push back than claiming Fed actions can destroy money.
