A ha! There we have it, fresh from the www.forexnews.com printer:

"The dollar was little changed in London, even against the yen, despite revelations that Japanese monetary authorities intervened on numerous occasions in January to weaken their currency. Japanese officials conceded that they had in fact used "preemptive" measures aimed at stabilizing the yen, but were not seeking to weakening the currency. The Ministry of Finance described undesirable fluctuations arising from geopolitical risks that the government needed to address and said that its intervention was a little less than $6 bln"

everyboday saw it, but always good to have confirmation. But wait till they repatriate................ B)
