The time to short and forget about it was first week Dec. Very low risk time then. Now it gets phsychologically harder with each passing day b/c everyone can't believe it will continue sliding lower, yet it will. DRIP, DRIP, DRIP. Slow roll off the top just like the slow roll off the March 02 top. Same deal unwinding here. Lose the preconceptions of what it "should do". The Dow finishes this week around 8000. longOnUranus Posted December 31, 2002 Report Share Posted December 31, 2002 I posted several mos ago about IBM and SUNW possibly mixing it up. SUNW vs. MSFT = lawyers bonanza, nothing more. I love Java, but MSFT broke the mold when it learned how to make profitable software (at the expense of IBM). SUNW workstation business, like SGI before it, and all PC's shortly, is a low margin business which will not enable it to survive.
