The End
An interesting chart from 2cents at Avid showing exhaustion gaps terminating the declines.? Will it be a threepeat? 2cents chart If we go up, it should be a lower high. Short strength or weakness. IMHO. :wink2:

depends
Was that me? No wonder it stinks in here. This little chart is getting whiplash - butt is stll on the sell side - and the red line is sloping down. Down is good. volume was stronger today - but not enough the buy/sell dropped a bit today

depends
and the red line is slopingdown. Down is good. Is that that a back tested statement? Down is good cause I am mostly short. As with all my postings - it is a cold hard guess. I quit backtesting in VV long ago. Never got me anywhere.

The Mad Hungarian
Earlier TE and I were talking about what a grinder today was..but Boy what a sick puppy the markets are when you look under the hood. NYSE-up Volume 498.5M, down volume-878.22M, new highs-16, new lows 75, NutsDuck up Volume-161.4M, down volume-591.6M, new highs 14, new lows 250. A Train wreck is coming-soon! brian4, To add to your observations, Richard Russell noted tonight that 32 of 33 retail stocks he monitors closed down, he feels the consumer has hit the wall. machinehead
In general I'm getting a bad feeling about early Sept and like I've said, I think it's about time Gaia chimes in and lets us know how she feels about the 6 billion parasites sucking her dry. Same here. There's one more McJobs report (Sep. 3) before the Sep. 21 Fed meeting. If 'they' decide to make up some strong numbers (and it's the next-to-last chance before the election to do so), Al will raise another quarter while thumping his chest about his forecasting ability. "Three steps and a stumble." If by some miracle the truth comes out in yet a third weak McJobs report, we will escape the hot frying pan of the rate increase, only to fall into the blazing fire of a total collapse in consumer confidence. So once again, a "lose-lose" event emerges in early September, thanks to years of accumulated bubbling. Like the Wizard of Oz, Al Leeson is at severe risk of being exposed as an utter fraud, at what was supposed to be the grand finale of his chequered career. "Time wounds all heels."
