alceringa
Doc intends to upgrade the site's server this weekend beginning about 10PM Friday Stool HQ time. Today is a good day to take a moment to make sure your Curriculum Vitae aka Stoolie Profile, is up to date. Why have old junque transfered to that shiny new server, Eh? Might think of it as the Stoolies version of "Spring Cleaning". Click on the "My Controls" near the top of this page and you will be taken to the place where you can check and update all your important information. Changed your email address recently? That's the bit of information that you need to make absolutely sure is correct. To change it, under "Options" on the "My Controls" page, select "Change Email Address" and fill in the correct information in the entry boxes provided. Some Stoolies have "Dead" Avatars and probably don't realize it. To make a really long story short, if your computer has kept a local copy of you Avatar image (ie cached it), you may be seeing your Avatar in your postings, but other Stoolies can't. You see your Avatar but other stoolies only see the dreaded "red x in a box". The easiest thing to do is to select an Avatar from the current pull down list. Avatar's that were available on pervious versions of Doc's boards may not still be available. If you have a custom image for your Avatar, one way to make sure it is viewable by all Stoolies is to uploaded it from your harddrive to Doc's server. If you're not sure how to do that, check Dr. B's instructions here. Remember, the largest size, in pixels, for an Avatar is 100x107. Stoolies with "Dead" Avatars (there may be others)- gaiko The brown one Good luck in your trading today!

OceanBound
One of the talking heads on crapvision just mentioned that holding gold is good as protection against your bank going bust! Did I hear that right? They should not let that cat out of the bag unless they want this major squeeeeeeze to end. It must have been a slip
