Pee Brain Posted March 28, 2003 Report Share Posted March 28, 2003 posted this on wrong thread. still dong NEM as indicated on IDS. i realize news is noise, but there's some serious complications brewing in ME: syria and iran get warnings from rummy, there are anti-coalition/zionist protest marches in many ME cities, israel ups alert status for chemical attacks, debka reports saddam had WMD hidden in syria and they have been moved to witihin striking distance of israel, WMD could be used against our troops, two iraqis planned attcks against american interests thwarted. yikes! what is happening now may be a paradigm shift - the world may be changing - maybe its not just news. i have very small equity positions, plus NEM. there is nothing wrong with taking a gold position (literally as insurance) and being mostly in cash. im gonna stand aside here -and im gonna start adding to physical gold holding - with the world changing and the FED stance, i just cant see what is gonna take gold down over the longer term. I remain net short but, not by much. A direction should be givin next week. I presume that direction is down but, have an open mind. A break of 841 or 900 will show us the way, IMHO. He has zero credibility, and if you don't call him on his track record, neither do you. By the way, your chortling when GE hit 27 was a short sale signal. It is disgusting that people who think of themselves as unbiased reporters should be allowed to have an ownership interest in the stories they are covering.
