Days range (English Pence) 99.00 to 27.50, last trade 45.50 with 6X average volume. In a panic at the freefall, the BOD has issued a statement claiming ignorance about losing IRAQI Oil field development contracts to Canadian and Turkish competitors. That appeared to have led to a dead cat bounce off of 27.5 low back to the mid 40's. Meanwhile, all the lights for the euroland bourses seem to be turning green. Fannie Mae said last month that if the agency found that it had improperly accounted for derivatives, it would show an estimated net loss of $9 billion for the third quarter of this year. Daly WASHINGTON (CBS.MW) -- Housing starts plunged 13.1 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.77 million in November, the lowest level since May of last year and the sharpest drop in more than a decade, the Commerce Department said Thursday. Housing starts dropped in every region of the country and in every major subcategory. Single family starts fell 11.7 percent to 1.44 million units in November. Would that not make it easy for u.s. to control the price of oil and keep gas prices below two dollar? or would that make it easier to raise the price of oil? i guess what i am asking is, would taking both iraq and iran be bullish for oil or bearish?
