"Measured in dollars, the nation is on pace this year to ship more gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel than any other single export, according to U.S. Census data going back to 1990. It will also be the first year in more than 60 that America has been a net exporter of these fuels."

I now understand why no one is noticing the massive amount of pollution flowing from the fracking.

Nobody but the frackers are actually anywhere near the fracking.

I'm thinking in a few years, we can do "Lorax Expeditions" to see the charred remains of what was once the North Dakota biosphere.

I bet we could make lots of money.

Kind of like reverse nature tourism.

Watch out on the long side here ladies, we are in for one heck of a drop, long UVXY, TZA and we ain't stopping at 10% as liquidity equation is finally turning neutral according to TrimTabs from a ragging hard on for many years.

I'm personally waiting for the JetLag indicator to give a sell signal.

I mean, it's not every day that we get a new indicator to use.

Trim Tabs? They track many of the same things I do, and have badly misinterpreted things at key points. Totally, totally blew the top in 2007. Big misses on the jobs number couple times based on the same data I use. That's hard to do.

In my experience the way you interpret the data has been much more in sync with actual markets performance.   Trim Tabs timing seems a bit skewed and the way they crunch as you said the same data but I have been able to look at the raw data without bias and draw what now appears to be liquid neutral.  Not sure this agrees with your forecast but at some point this should turn bearish and at that point it may be too late to exit.

That's why I'm going to use the Jetlag indicator.

I'm almost certain that once it's too late to exit, we will get the "sell signal".

I'm a stickler for that kind of certainty.

I think that there are clear signs of fraying at the edges. The LTRO paydowns - Danger Danger Will Robinson. But I wouldn't call it neutral. The Fed and BoJ continue to pump like mad.

What is the Jetlag indicator or should I "know": this by now

It's the margin debt chart that Jetlag was periodically posting.

Since it's a coincident indicator, once we are solidly in the bear market, it should confirm that we are, indeed, in a bear market.

Last time I saw it, it was indicating that we were in a market melt-up and we were exceeding the prior all-time high for margin debt.

It does have some value, it's just not good if your time frame for the trade is under six months.
