The rocket scientist that build homes have concluded that 2003 was a banner year at 1.5m units and is UNLIKELY to be surpassed in 2004. They feel taht the strong economy and low interest rates will result in a slight decrease (3.5%) in the number of single family homes built in 04 The pony in the room: New houses built in 04 will be larger, have more rooms and will emphasize luxury (high end appliances, etc..)
