The End
Let's not start this again. I will say part of the post I deleated yesterday. The conspiracy theory is the one we are meant to believe. I will leave it at that. MJ, When did you become aware? hey it's after hours bro, if you don't like my posts, skip on by when did I become aware of what? I never believed the official 9-11 story. I have hung out with you more than any other stoolie. We went to a Prince concert together. We never discussed 9-11 before, I was unaware of your non-belief system. Cool out. I am just noticing you bringing it up with all these sites. You appear to be just now discovering this. That is all.
mjkst27
dude, I drive 40 minutes to work each way, every day. I burn stuff on CD and listen in the car. I recently found www.radio4all.net, which despite it's heavy left-wing bias, has some awesome stuff there. I happen to have listened to some 9-11 stuff from there in the last few weeks. Other than that, someone happened to bring it up yesterday.
Guest
Non-belief system? I think that's the same as being curious or seeking answers to things that don't all add up. That's why I'm here.

mjkst27
oops, just found out that Nick Begich has appeared on Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell and/or George Noory. His credibility has just dropped significantly in my book
DrStool
Why did Hurst abandon cmaps? They are the best tool for forecasting turning points that I have ever seen by far. The trick is in understanding where to point the projection. That comes with experience. You get a feel for it. If you do it for awhile, you will get the knack. I never bothered with the last chapter and the addenda. That stuff is purely for rocket scientists. It's not needed. I wonder what I could have done with that kind of training. Woulda been fun. But there's more to it than just number crunching.

Space Modulator
Why did Hurst abandon cmaps? They are the best tool for forecasting turning points that I have ever seen by far. But there's more to it than just number crunching. Doc, I'm not Hurst so I don't know. The later Hurst stuff uses VTL's (Valid Trend Lines) and FLD's (Future Lines of Demarcation), and counting the cycle bottoms. I don't know whether it was because he found these methods to work better, or whether they are just simpler to do with pencil and paper (remember it was the early 70's), or both. The methods are related to each other mathematically, so I would expect that they produce similar results. IMO, the last chapter and appendix of Profit Magic is the most interesting part, albeit probably the least useful for actually making money. I am an electrical engineer in real life, so many of the concepts were already familiar to me. Also, there is much more to being a successful trader than understanding Hurst theory (as I have learned the hard way). One thing that is apparent from reading the "Cycles Course" is that Hurst was extraordinarily methodical and disciplined.
depends
thanks for believing in me Depends! No problemo. mj Internet radio and video has mostly replaced my TV. Internet news has mostly replaced the daily fish wrap. The primary reasons are that the radio and video offer better selections and the news is more timely than the morning paper. Pee Brain
TE-over the weekend. You know I have no sympathy for the lying Bastard Bullhorners. I just read an article where a dick head anal cyst said Google which will trade at 60 times earnings is a screaming buy cuz Yahoo trades at 110 times earnings. Anyone who owns Yahoo @ 110 times earnings belongs in an insane asylum. Google's IPO will either be a disaster or one week later the price will be cut in half. All the crappy IPO's that have come out lately have immediately fallen on their sword. g00gle's okey for finding junk, but yahoo has pretty good porn and its free - that's worth a few notches on the multiple. BTW, i was just pricing rent-a-cars and airplane tix and this pop-up comes up and shows me better prices than the site that i was making a reservation with. is this a great country or what? anotherone
Prediction: The Google IPO will be a disaster, and since the whole market has been praying that it will save the market here, its failure will be the SELL SIGNAL heard 'round the world. Are you sure? It's them DemCon. HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN.......
