Goldmember
Monday will be an up day. Tuesday for bears again, Wednesday boner, shoot the whites of their highs on that one. Just an overall picture of what I think will happen. I doubt if any new price highs will occur.
anoscope
Off topic, but an aside as we watch while enjoying the show. Tomorrow (Saturday) is our Governor run-off election. We will not have a white male for governor in Louisiana for the first time. We will either have a white old woman (democrat) or a Louisiana born male of Indian (the country) descent. machinehead
Machine, all jokes aside... your attention to the commodes in the last few weeks/months have been awesome. Wndy you too. Thanks for the education. Lesson well learned. If multi-year breakouts mean anything, something important is happening. Gold, oil, CRB, USD, and funnymentals (endless credit creation) are sending a reinforcing message, so it's not just a buy signal on one chart. Howl
The short selling ratio has been down below average yesterday and today. Back to bearish mode.
Hiding Bear
Machine, all jokes aside... your attention to the commodes in the last few weeks/months have been awesome. Wndy you too. Thanks for the education. Lesson well learned. Great calls there. I'd like to know how the borkers are going to spin the fact that the cost of basic food and energy is going up faster than personal income gains. I've heard nothing but positive things about the economy all day on Bloomberg. Sometimes I just can't take the commnetary and have to turn it off. wndysrf
Only 1.6 billion in volume. Not enough. Need over 2 billion for the day to legitimize this breakdown. Otherwise, another OpEx Jam Job may be attempted next week. AMAT getting smoked 5% on 40 million shares, that by itself is probably a good indicator that the rally is OVER. coboy
If the demand for commodities is global, doesn't it make sense to look at prices in terms of something that doesn't change ? Is there such a thing ? i.e. Dollar going down automatically should make all commodities more expensive anyway.. How about in Canadian dollars ? I think some went down.. BarBu
(sorry if this is a duplicated) http://www.thestreet.com/_yahoo/markets/re...e/10126719.html Online broker Charles Schwab isn't immune to the mutual fund trading scandal that has plagued other Wall Street firms over the past two months. Schwab said the Securities and Exchange Commission has made inquiries into its affiliates and the affiliates of its U.S. Trust unit, making Schwab the first online broker to be implicated in the imbroglio. The New York State attorney general has issued subpoenas to the affiliates of US Trust, Schwab said in a SEC filing.
