The fact that I may be a Democrat, or that he may be brilliant, does not change the fact that more than any other leader in this country's history, he made it ok for everyone to lie, cheat, and steal, and think that they are doing nothing wrong. We live in a wretchedly narcissistic, self-indulgent society. The cardinal value is expediency. Get what you can, as much as you can, whenever you can, as long as you don't get caught. And if you do, lie your ass off. No one will notice. It's all ok now. Clinton is the poster boy. He set the standard to which our entire culture now aspires down to. The gutter. the precedent for this behavior was set in 1913 with the beginning of perpetual debasement of the currency. Clinton's popularization of the blow job (by describing it as something less than "sexual relations"... perhaps more akin to a handshake), did for that act what the Beatles did for long hair...to the great joy of schoolboys everywhere.
