Fartpolio Manager
FM not surprised by the chip upgrades, although it's waaaay early.... Typical Wall Street, making a mountain out of a molehill... As far as the chip equipment people... they are still burnt toast.
fxfox
guten tag liebe stoolies! phatbubble, would it be possible to make a back trst of the saturn/stock market correlation? JUst take say 1975-1979 and 1983-1986 or so and look how the relatinship was. Is that possible? ---------- well, every blind chicken saw that 25.30-25.40 was the target to be tested. Fartpolio Manager
Well, this market's not going down very far unless the SOX fades... I have to look now for 300 to get interested in any kind of short... unless she fades right here which does not look likely to these eyes... soup
this mkt is a complete pain in the ass, and imo, the reason is the govt/fed/ . They are so intent on fighting the natural forces that a neccesary cleansing is not allowed. Of course they will fail miserably, and in the process take 2-3 years of pain and turn it into a decade or more. Perfect example is the round number phenomeon
Yaryman
A little more than 18 billion in repos due tomorrow. 9 billion from today. 4.75 due from 2/13. 4.746 due from 2/12. http://app.ny.frb.org/dmm/mkt.cfm
soup
fart: agree the mkt aint going down till the sox breaks. However that will be much sooner rather than later. You know a sector is hanging on to dear life when the bulge bracket shills have to upgrade, what anyone with two eyes can see is overpriced crap.
