Guest
From tech-sol.net/humor/true.htm: A doctor who spoke limited Spanish was rushed to a car in the ER parking lot to find a Spanish woman in the process of giving birth. Wanting to tell the woman to push he started yelling "Puta! Puta! Puta!" At this the grandmother started to cry and the baby's father had to be restrained. What the doctor should have been saying was "Puja!" (Push!) Instead he was saying "Whore! Whore! Whore!" A 28-year old male was brought into the ER after an attempted suicide. The man had swallowed several nitroglycerin pills and a fifth of vodka. When asked about the bruises about his head and chest he said that they were from him ramming himself into the wall in an attempt to make the nitroglycerin explode. anjing bau
Rich I am early in the learning curve with GANN..... I hpe BB is lurking and will offer us an answer. GANN really drives home that you need to be discerning as to the time line of a move or as Doc says the cycles of the stock.... I like the square of nine ... uncanny how the targets i arrive at by fibonnacci match up with the Square..... I feel that BB is correct that you can identify windows of time that a chnge / reversal etc have a higher probability of occuring in... Capitsl stool ....cycles waves Gann fibonacci pattern recognition........ everything but the kitchen sink!!!
sweefraapp
Looks like distribution now on the volume charts I look at (same ones sniff uses). Can't tell for sure though. Nice short term spike, but still pretty quiet when looking at a 15 day perspective.

PileDriver
HUI @ fib retrace No buy signal, but no sell signal either. Just a typical scarey bull market correction?! 200day MA @ 128 or so, plus medium term up trendline and 50% fib retrce.

TheDeepBlueSea
XL Capital: an insurance stock with a P/E of over 100. What's with that? The reason it caught my eye was that an anal-yst from one of the major broker-ages was touting it today. Someone needs to unload.

purdymouth
I'm glad that: 1) The bottom is in. 2) Paper assetts are strong and dependable. 3) Hard assetts like gold and silver are worthless. 4) The war is over. 5) I can now return my investments to their true home, Janus, American, Van Kampen and Lord Abbott funds. HardAssets
Did the SPX just perfectly hit a 61.8% fib retracement from Fridays HIgh to todays low and bounce off of it? Confirmation would be appreciated, if it did and does not exceed I will re-enter some shorts. Thanks
Boy Plunger
Looks like the "canary in the coal mine" is trying to tell me something- I'm not sure exactly what, though. I'm glad everyone else is so calm and collected- my ignorance over here is not bliss- not at all
