Did that in the late 90's and was on a roll until I started busting on them. They are an interesting company though and have some really good accounts. And this is the time of year for them to have record sales. I do a lot of gardening and am familiar with most of their products. U.S. Home & Garden, Inc. Every stock is a story, there would be no economy without stories. Stories have little to do with the price action. You among many taught me that. Prior to hearing the story. I bought it at 3ish. Look at the chart. If you listened to the interview, You would have noticed that they can't answer any questions. Two answers as to why. One they are lying two they are gaged by the DOD. It's in our own city - 650 immediate job cuts in a city of 200k is a lot, especially when there are supposedly 5 indirect jobs for each direct one. WH had a banker patient this week who claimed about 1/2 the tool & die operations in the city are bleeding red ink. We have been one of the (if not the) fastest growing cities in the country in recent years. Home construction has been going on at a pace that is just unbelievable. A lot of dual income line worker families moved into relatively expensive brand new subdivisions, thanks of course, to 100% mortgages and working plenty of overtime. Now many of those jobs are in jeopardy. (I wanted to say "on the line" but that's too punny :wink2: ) The city's only real diversification is the casino, with ancillary strip clubs and other hospitality sector establishments. Secondly the article says the U.S. is obligated to defend Taiwan from an invasion by the mainland. My understanding until now was that it was implicit but not guaranteed the article now says it is indeed guaranteed. Did we all miss something ??? "Kuwait is to Iraq as Taiwan is to China" It's right there on page 3, under the heading: "The Best Defense Is A Good Offense" If we're destined to fight WWIII against China any way, why not just accelerate the process and get it over with ASAP. No. I heard about it from a broker friend of mine in NYC when it was at two. He has reco. things in the past. This is the first winner he has givin me.
