My point in linking the article is that the gov't is trying to seperate us against each other. Anyone or group that stands out from the crowd is going to feel the wrath of the gov't. They're dividing us into "right wing crazies" and the "left wing crazies" when we're all in the same boat. The propoganda includes the wealth evny, limiting bonuses, taxing the rich, etc., etc. It's all connected.

You're categorizing "these people" as cheering for the war and then "their dollars are being spent by a liberal" like everyone that is protesting is some "right wing crazy". You're missing the big picture and falling for the Dem vs. Rep trap. We're broke, the wars are costing us money. China is going to stop buying FRNs so how is the Gov't going to get money? Print it and tax us. They're not mentioning anything about cutting budgets, just spending more. How is the Stimulus going to be paid for? That cigarette tax just went up something like 26 cents to over a dollar. This is about more than just income tax, it's all taxes. I live in Maryland and last year we got national notirity for implementing a "new tax per day".

If you don't think taxes are a problem and are going to continue to be an increasing problem then you are a dolt!

All the teabag protesters are falling for the Dem vs. Rep trap. They're targeting the current administration as if that's the problem. The problem is lack of campaign finance reform. Until people demonstrate for campaign finance reform, and come out in droves to vote only for Congressional candidates who pledge to vote for campaign finance reform (Yes, for taxpayers to take on extra taxes to pay for Congressional campaigns), then we will stay in the same mess. Taxpayer finance of Congressional campaigns will be a lot cheaper for taxpayers in the long run, than all the bailouts and corporate welfare going on now. Because of the Golden Rule: He who supplies the gold (finances the campaigns) makes the rules. We're ruled by a military industrial complex, pharmaceutical corporations, oil corporations etc. right now for that reason.

I wonder if the current teabag protesting movement is pushed and heavily financed by corporations. Wouldn't be surprised. Divide and Conquer strategy-- an old standard one.
