Guest
If the stock market has been riding the debasement lower dollar story, then in my own simplistic view, wouldn't this be a setup for a major correction in equities?
Guest jrmfl
Anything's possible. But for the dolor, from a fundamental basis to make higher highs, all the other currencies will have to debase even faster than us. That's not a recipe for gold collapse. I will simply watch the 50dma at 89.41. I would seriously expect that it bounces off of that hard. If not. Well, I'll readjust. i'm actually going to enjoy watching uncle buck rise with gold one day... a strong dollar? been hearing that for 40% downside. and now it's deeply Dover Sole? relative to what? confetti? not much original criminal thinking. deflation = strong dollar? remind me where all those reserves go? back into tbones you say... this outta be fun to watch. it's upside down, in size. long bond will shatter every crackheads dream, and then you'll know. Guest jrmfl
Cmaps say 79-80 on Buck index. That implies a break of the '95 lows. Little bounce here, but that's all. doc, i believe you too shall be surprised when it farts thru those cmaps like a gold bar thru wet tissue... Nope, that's bullish. You see a strong dollar gives foreigners confidence in our system and therefore we attract more inflows. Get it yet? I don't. Calculus
Scale down buying of some miners here. Maybe they go lower this month, next month and the following etc - But I ain't no short term trader. Always makes me laugh how the fundamentals behind a stock or market can be forgotton with a little bit of strengh or weakness.
Madame Wrecked Him
Only if they bother to include them in the CPI to any real extent! Exactly. The phrase "excluding volatile food and energy prices" is bandied about so often, one almost begins to think because of the volatility, they don't matter at all anymore. If you are talking about gold stocks what are the attractive fundamentals you speak of? It certainly isn't valuation.
