But the current "ebbing tide" on stock markets was exposing flaws, and isolating weaker countries. Mr Soros, chairman of Soros Fund Management, urged nations to "pull together" to ensure the global financial market remained intact. "Unless we fix it, it is not going to survive." Efforts to repair the damage were being undermined by US policymakers' neglect, he said. "The real threat is that the people in charge - I am talking about the US Treasury, not just the International Monetary Fund - [are not] there," he said. It was run by a former Lehman Bros. hotshot. Called the Eifuku Master Fund, I suppose it could be phoneticized in English as Ei-fuk-u, which must be how their investors are feeling right now. All Ords down around 2% which is a monster move for us. The golds being dragged down too but not a lot (the pause that refreshes?) The Index looking rather razor edgish now so at this stage I'm thinking another selloff into close. The dippers tentatively dipping during the lunchtime lull and keeping things on an even keel atm. Summation is still heading down firmly so any bounces will be weak and/or short-lived. But most likely way sooner... Up to now the Blind followers of think positive religion have been able to "Hoodwink" everyone. The unemploymet rate % is just a number representing the people that are recieving benifits... The cut offs are invisible... Since the begining of the month close to 400,000 people have been flushed... It takes 2-3 months for the weak ones to go under and declare bankruptcy And 1 year for the strong ones to give it "The old college try" before they are vaporised... Once the housing market (Bubble) stops growing, "Hyperdeflation" will begin to take hold... Compound Happiness turns into Compound Misery. My own personal thoughts are that the talk of a new Bull Market are basically over... If "they" can't pull off a miracle by the middle of the month it will be over... Dow and spoos broke the 50-yard line as I anticipated. I think she will make a move up and take a peek and down she goes. I can?t be this easy. Bears gotta take a quick nap for the fiesta. Closed puts today on chtt. I have sat on these, believe or not 5-months. Rode from 44 and change to 16.55. The pig even had a split so I got more puts. I had a long enough affair with the pig. Talk about riding the edge. I love it! Closed q?s, believe it or not I went long on the q?s for a short ride which means I will get my ass smoked. I hate going long but I got a week off so I will watch it close and it even sneezes I?m out. I only go long on q?s and oex for some quick abuse. I see maybe a day or two and down she goes. Entered new short avid, safe till june, still riding amln. Missed vxgn went from 19 and change to 12 and change in 3-days. Damn! That is a sweet move for in the money putz. Glad to see the troops made some money. I?m sure more to come. Don?t worry about a quick rally. The bullies are really pissed! Lets give them a big bear hug. The damn shmucks anyway.
